This invention discloses new compounds of the formula EQU1 wherein X is halogen; R 1 and R 2 are alkyl; and Q is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkylthio and EQU2 WHEREIN Z is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkoxy, halogen and nitro; m is an integer from 0 to 3; A is methylene; and n is an integer from 0 to 1. These compounds are useful as intermediates for preparing a variety of valuable pesticidal compounds.
