An efficient one-pot three enzymes strategy for chemoenzymatic synthesis of ADP-d-glycero-β-d-manno-heptose (ADP-d, d-heptose) was reported using chemically synthesized d, d-heptose-7-phosphate and the ADP-d, d-heptose biosynthetic enzymes HldE and GmhB M
A convenient synthetic route to mannose 6-phosphonate-cholesteryl conjugate
Vidal, Sebastien,Morere, Alain,Montero, Jean-Louis
, p. 241 - 246 (2007/10/03)
The synthesis of mannose 6-phosphonate-based glycolipid was discussed. The synthesis involved a one-carbon chain elongation at the 6-position of mannose, followed by phosphonation, using tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphite. The final step of synthesis involved an Arbuzov reaction between the alkyl bromide derivative and tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphite, followed by deprotection of the acetate under Zemplen conditions.
