Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 58663-58-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,8,6,6 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 58663-58:
(7*5)+(6*8)+(5*6)+(4*6)+(3*3)+(2*5)+(1*8)=164
164 % 10 = 4
So 58663-58-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

MASS SPECTRA OF ACYL DERIVATIVES OF 2-AMINOBENZOTHIAZOLE AND 2-IMINOBENZOTHIAZOLINE
Rashkes, Ya. B.,Ambartsumova, R. F.,Saprykina, V. A.,Rozhkova, N. K.
, p. 1488 - 1494 (2007/10/02)
The mass spectra of the products from acylation of 2-aminobenzothiazole and its 2- and 3-alkyl(aryl) derivatives by acryloyl chloride and chloroalkyl formates were investigated. It was established that, irrespective of the nature of the substituents at the endo- or exocyclic nitrogen atom in the initial amine, comparison of the relative intensities of the peaks for the 2CO>+ and 2>+ ions of the acylated compounds as a rule makes it possible to distinguish easily between the amino and imino structures. An unknown direction in the decomposition of methyl carbamates was discovered. An unusual rearrangement process, due to the simultaneous presence of the hydroxyethyl group and the acyl residue, was found.
