Design and synthesis of phosphotyrosine mimetics
Yan, Zheng,Kahn, Michael,Qabar, Maher,Urban, Jan,Kim, Hwa-Ok,Blaskovich, Mark A.
, p. 2083 - 2085 (2003)
Selective inhibitors of protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPases) are of great interest as therapeutic agents and research tools. Several phenylalanine derivatives (1, 2) designed as phosphotyrosine mimetics or irreversible active site inhibitors were successfully synthesized, then incorporated into a combinatorial library based on a peptidomimetic β-strand template.
Rapid acidolysis of benzyl group as a suitable approach for syntheses of peptides naturally produced by oxidative stress and containing 3-nitrotyrosine

, p. 1087 - 1098 (2016/04/05)
3-Nitrotyrosine (Nit) belongs to products of oxidative stress and could probably influence conformation of neurodegenerative proteins. Syntheses of peptides require availability of suitable synthon for introduction of Nit residue. Common phenolic protecti
