Binuclear complexes of Zn2L2X4 stoichiometry, where L=4,4'-di(furan/thiophene or pyridine-2-formylimino)diphenyl-sulphone (abbreviated as FD/TD/PD respectively hereinafter), X=CL-, NO3- and CH3COO- ions, possessing octahedral environment around metal ions, are reported.The complexes have been characterised by elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic, ir and uv spectral measurements.
