Paragraph 0754; 0756, (2021/01/23)
The present disclosure describes novel compounds, or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, pharmaceutical compositions containing them, and their medical uses. Compounds of the disclosure have activity as dual modulators of Janus kinase (JAK), alone, or in combination with one or more of an additional mechanism, including a tyrosine kinase, such as TrkA or Syk, and PDE4, and are useful in the in the treatment or control of inflammation, auto-immune diseases, cancer, and other disorders and indications where modulation of JAK would be desirable. Also described herein are methods of treating inflammation, auto-immune diseases, cancer, and other conditions susceptible to inhibition of JAK and PDE4 by administering a compound herein described.
Mechanochemical enzymatic resolution of N-benzylated-β3-amino esters

supporting information, p. 1728 - 1734 (2017/09/27)
The use of mechanochemistry to carry out enantioselective reactions has been explored in the last ten years with excellent results. Several chiral organocatalysts and even enzymes have proved to be resistant to milling conditions, which allows for rather efficient enantioselective transformations under ball-milling conditions. The present article reports the first example of a liquid-assisted grinding (LAG) mechanochemical enzymatic resolution of racemic β3-amino esters employing Candida antarctica lipase B (CALB) to afford highly valuable enantioenriched N-benzylated-β3-amino acids in good yields. Furthermore the present protocol is readily scalable.

Page/Page column 51, (2008/06/13)
CRF receptor antagonists are disclosed which may have utility in the treatment of a variety of disorders, including the treatment of disorders manifesting hypersecretion of CRF in mammals. The CRF receptor antagonists of this invention have the following structure: (I); and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, solvates, stereoisomers and prodrugs thereof, wherein R1, R2a, R2b, Y, Het, n, o, R6, Ar and R7 are as defined herein. Compositions containing a CRF receptor antagonist in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier are also disclosed, as well as methods for use of the same.
