Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 6126-96-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,1,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6126-96:
(6*6)+(5*1)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*9)+(1*6)=91
91 % 10 = 1
So 6126-96-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Photochemical Reaction of N,N-Dimethylanilines with N-Substituted Maleimides Utilizing Benzaldehyde as the Photoinitiator

Nikitas, Nikolaos F.,Theodoropoulou, Maria A.,Kokotos, Christoforos G.

supporting information, p. 1168 - 1173 (2021/02/01)

Photoorganocatalysis constitutes a powerful domain of photochemistry and organic synthesis. The scaffold of pyrrolo[3,4-c]quinolinoles exhibits interesting and potent inhibition against various enzymes, making them really promising pharmaceutical targets. Herein, we describe a photochemical methodology for the reaction of N,N-dimethylanilines with N-substituted maleimides, utilizing benzaldehyde as the photoinitiator. A variety of substituted N,N-dimethylanilines and N-substituted maleimides were converted into the corresponding adducts in moderate to high yields.

Asymmetric Cycloisomerization of o-Alkenyl-N-Methylanilines to Indolines by Iridium-Catalyzed C(sp3)?H Addition to Carbon–Carbon Double Bonds

Torigoe, Takeru,Ohmura, Toshimichi,Suginome, Michinori

supporting information, p. 14272 - 14276 (2017/10/23)

Highly enantioselective cycloisomerization of N-methylanilines, bearing o-alkenyl groups, into indolines is established. An iridium catalyst bearing a bidentate chiral diphosphine effectively promotes the intramolecular addition of the C(sp3)?H bond across a carbon–carbon double bond in a highly enantioselective fashion. The reaction gives indolines bearing a quaternary stereogenic carbon center at the 3-position. The reaction mechanism involves rate-determining oxidative addition of the N-methyl C?H bond, followed by intramolecular carboiridation and subsequent reductive elimination.

Safe and efficient reductive methylation of primary and secondary amines using N-methylpyrrolidine zinc borohydride

Alinezhad, Heshmatollah,Tajbakhsh, Mahmood,Salehian, Fatemeh,Fazli, Kazem

scheme or table, p. 2415 - 2420 (2010/09/08)

An efficient, general procedure for reductive methylation of primary and secondary amines with 37% formaldehyde using N-methylpyrrolidine zinc borohydride (ZBHNMP) as a reducing agent gave the corresponding tertiary amines in excellent yields. The reaction was carried out in tetrahydrofuran under neutral conditions at 0-10°C. Copyright Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

Selective N,N-dimethylation of primary aromatic amines with methyl alkyl carbonates in the presence of phosphonium salts

Selva, Maurizio,Perosa, Alvise,Tundo, Pietro,Brunelli, Davide

, p. 5770 - 5773 (2007/10/03)

In the presence of onium salts, at 140-170 °C. methyl alkyl carbonates [1a-c, ROCO2Me, R = MeO(CH2)2[O(CH 2)2]n; n = 2-0, respectively] react with primary aromatic amines (XC6H4NH2, X = p-OMe, p-Me, H, p-Cl, p-CO2Me, o-Et, and 2,3-Me2C 6H3NH2) to yield the corresponding N,N-dimethyl derivatives (ArNMe2) with high selectivity (up to 96%) and good isolated yields (78-95%). Phosphonium salts (e.g., Ph3PEtI and n-Bu4PBr) are particularly efficient catalysts. Overall, a solvent-free reaction is coupled with safe methylating agents (1a-c) made from nontoxic dimethyl carbonate.

Alinezhad, Heshmatollah,Tajbakhsh, Mahmood,Zamani, Reza

, p. 3609 - 3615 (2007/10/03)

A simple and efficient procedure for reductive methylation of primary and secondary amines using N-methylpiperidine zinc borohydride (ZBNMPP), giving tertiary amines, is described. The reaction is carried out in methanol at room temperature under neutral conditions. Copyright Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

Dichlorobis(1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane)(tetrahydroborato)zirco- nium(IV), [Zr(BH4)2Cl2(dabco)2](ZrBDC), as a new, stable, and versatile bench top reducing agent: Reduction of imines and enamines, reductive amination of aldehydes and ketones and reductive methylation of amines

Firouzabadi, Habib,Iranpoor, Nasser,Alinezhad, Heshmatollah

, p. 143 - 151 (2007/10/03)

The reducing agent is easily prepared in an almost quantitative yield from commercially available starting materials. This compound is stable under mild aqueous acidic conditions (pH 4-6) and survives in H2O for several days without losing its reducing abilities. ZrBDC has been successfully used for the reduction of imines and enamines, reductive amination of aldehydes and ketones, and reductive methylation of amines.

A versatile method for the N,N-dialkylation of aromatic amines via Grignard reactions on N,N-bis(benzotriazolylmethyl)arylamines

Katritzky, Alan R.,Rachwal, Stanislaw,Wu, Jing

, p. 456 - 463 (2007/10/02)

Grignard reactions of N,N-bis(benzotriazolylmethyl)arylamines afford the corresponding N,N-dialkylarylamines in high yields.Electron-releasing substituents on the aryl ring facilitate the reaction.Arylamines are N,N-dialkylated with two different alkyl groups by a stepwise procedure: N-benzotriazolylmethylation of an amine followed by a Grignard reaction to introduce the first alkyl group, and repetition of the same procedure to introduce the second alkyl group.Grignard reagents derived from 1,4-dihalobutane, upon reaction with N,N-bis(benzotriazolylmethyl)arylamines, give the corresponding N-aryl-hexahydroazepines together with acyclic products.
