DYE, AND PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT AND PHOTOELECTROCHEMICAL CELL USING THE SAME
-
Paragraph 0117; 0118, (2016/10/08)
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element and photoelectrochemical cell that achieves a high photoelectric conversion efficiency and in addition that has excellent durability, as well as to provide a dye used therein. SOLUTION: Provided is a dye represented by formula: MLt2L1. (M is ruthenium, osmium, iron, rhenium or technetium; Lt2 is a tridentate ligand represented by the formula (2-2); and L1 is a tridentate ligand of bis-pyrazole-substituted pyridine compound.). (R1 and R2 is -COOH or the like, La is a single bond or an arylene group; n1 is an integer of 1 to 3; n2 is an integer of 1 to 4; R6 is a substituent containing a C1 to 30 alkyl group or the like; and n6 is an integer of 1 to 5.). Ordering of apolar and polar solutes in nematic solvents
Dingemans,Photinos,Samulski,Terzis,Wutz
, p. 7046 - 7061 (2007/10/03)
To illustrate the relative importance of electrostatic interactions, the LC-NMR data for a pair of polar and apolar solutes that are structural isomers, ortho- and para-dichlorobenzene, respectively, dissolved in polar and apolar nematogens were analyzed.
Synthesis, Solubility, and Reaction of Long Alkyl-Chained Hypervalent Iodine Benzyne Precursors
Abe, Takayoshi,Yamaji, Teizo,Kitamura, Tsugio
, p. 2175 - 2178 (2007/10/03)
Long-chained hypervalent iodine benzyne precursors bearing ethyl, butyl, hexyl, octyl, decyl, dodecyl, and tetradecyl groups were synthesized, respectively. As the alkyl chain of the benzyne precursors is lengthened, the solubility in nonpolar organic solvents and the yield of the benzyne adduct with furan gradually increases.
Functionalized AB-type monomers for Suzuki polycondensation
Frahn,Schluter
, p. 1301 - 1304 (2007/10/03)
A high yield synthesis of two phenylene and biphenylene derived AB-type monomers for Suzuki polycondensation is described. They carry solubilizing alkyl groups and free and methyl-protected hydroxy functional groups for further modifications.
