FURTHER 5-METHYL COUMARINS AND OTHER CONSTITUENTS FROM THE SUBTRIBE MUTISINAE
Zredo, C.,Bohlmann, F.,King, R. M.,Robinson, H.
, p. 509 - 516 (2007/10/02)
Key Word Index-Mutisia spinosa, M. retorsa; Trichocline sinuata; Brachyclados megalanthus; Compositae; chemotaxonomy; 5-methyl coumarins; monoterpenes; geraniol and linalol derivatives; C14-acetylenic compound. The investigation of four species from the subtribe Mutisiinae afforded eight new monoterpenes, seven 5-methyl coumarins, two closely related 5-methyl chromones, two coumarane derivatives, a p-hydroxy acetophenone derivative and a new C14-acetylene.The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and a few chemical transformations. The chemotaxonomy of the Mutisiinae is discussed.
Synthesis of Naturally Occurring p-Hydroxyacetophenone Derivatives, II
Bohlmann, Ferdinand,Vorwerk, Edgar
, p. 261 - 266 (2007/10/02)
The structures of ten hydroxyacetophenone derivatives isolated from Composites (3-5, 7, 11, 12, 14, 16, 23, and 24) have been finally established by synthesis.
