A few N,N'-dialkyl-2-(p-substituted benzenesulphonamido)glutaramides have been evaluated against Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) in Swiss albino mice using live cell count and tumor weight as activity parameters.Effect of the most potent member, N,N'-di-n-butyl-2-(p-toluenesulphonamido)glutaramide (II), on the DNA and RNA contents of EAC cells has been studied.Although the DNA content remains almost unaffected, the RNA content is decreased to some extent.
