The preparation of fluoroalkyl and fluorocycloalkyl was discussed. The synthesis and characterization proved that the C-F activation was restricted to fluorine substitution at the β position. Molecular structures of the compound was found to exhibit complexes with an equitorial pseudomacrocyclic ligands as well as axial base and organo ligand in mutually trans positions.
