General Description

6-Amino-m-xylene-4-sulphonic acid, also known as 4-Amino-3-methylbenzenesulfonic acid, is an organic compound comprised of benzene ring substituted by a sulphonic acid group, a methyl group and an amino group at different locations. 6-amino-m-xylene-4-sulphonic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzenesulfonic acids and derivatives which have a benzenesulfonic acid group or a derivative of the group attached to the molecule. It is a common synthetic chemistry reagent usually used in production and manufacturing of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and other chemical products.
