1-(4-Isopropylcyclohexyl)ethanol is a clear, colorless to yellowish liquid with light floral Muguet note. It blends well with lily of the valley and rosy fragrances and has a good stability in nearly all applications. Thematerial is obtained by Friedel–Crafts acylation of cumene and subsequent hydrogenation.
