Facile synthesis of coumaronochromones through palladium-catalyzed intramolecular cross dehydrogenative coupling
Gu, Chang-Xue,Liu, Jian-Guo,Chen, Wen-Wen,Xu, Ming-Hua
, (2021)
An efficient base-free palladium-catalyzed intramolecular cross dehydrogenative coupling of 2-aryloxy substituted 4-chromenones to access coumaronochromones has been achieved. A range of diversely substituted coumaronochromones can be facilely synthesized in good to excellent yields (up to 90%).
Synthesis and characterization of 2-methylsulfonyl-4H-4-chromenones
Lee, Ge Hyeong,Ha, Sung Jin,Pak, Chwang Siek
, p. 2677 - 2684 (1999)
2-Methylsulfonyl-4H-4-chromenones which are important intermediate of 2- substituted 4H-4-chromenones, equivalent to 2-halo-4H-4-chromenone, were synthesized and first characterized.
Oxidative regioselective amination of chromones exposes potent inhibitors of the hedgehog signaling pathway

, p. 925 - 928 (2015/01/09)
A transition metal-free, oxidative, regioselective cross-coupling between non-functionalized azoles and chromones at C2-position was developed. A broad reaction scope and further transformation of products were demonstrated. The biological evaluation of products revealed a novel class of hedgehog signaling pathway inhibitors.
