Paragraph 0018; 0021; 0023; 0025; 0027; 0029; 0030, (2020/06/02)
The invention provides a preparation method for an alpha-hydroxy ketone bifunctional photoinitiator. The preparation method comprises the following steps: with 4,4'-diisobutyryl diphenyl ether as a raw material, allowing the 4,4'-diisobutyryl diphenyl ether to react with chlorine, and carrying out hydrolyzing, crystallizing and purifying so as to obtain a product. The preparation method provided by the invention is high in yield, good in product appearance and low in cost, and has advantages in industrial production. In the step of a chlorination reaction, side reactions are effectively controlled; and in the step of hydrolysis, the problem of difficult layering of a water phase and an organic phase generated by using phase transfer catalysis and phase transfer catalysis is avoided.
PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF AROMATIC ALPHA-HYDROXY KETONES
-
Page/Page column 14-15, (2010/01/29)
Process for the preparation of aromatic alpha-hydroxyketones (aromatic α- hydroxyketones) that does not require the use of chlorine, sulfuryl chloride or bromine and comprises the halogenation of an intermediate aromatic ketone with a hydrogen halide in the presence of an oxidising compound.
