6626-83-1 Usage
Uses
Used in Chemical Synthesis:
1,4-bis(1-oxododecyl)piperazine is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of organic compounds for various purposes, including the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other specialty chemicals.
Used in Surfactant Production:
In the Surfactant Industry, 1,4-bis(1-oxododecyl)piperazine is used as a raw material for the production of surfactants. These surfactants are essential in various applications such as detergents, cleaners, and personal care products, where they help to reduce surface tension and improve the solubility of other ingredients.
Used in Corrosion Inhibitor Production:
1,4-bis(1-oxododecyl)piperazine is also used in the production of corrosion inhibitors. These inhibitors are crucial in various industries, such as oil and gas, automotive, and construction, to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and extend the life of equipment and structures.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6626-83-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,6,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6626-83:
(6*6)+(5*6)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*8)+(1*3)=111
111 % 10 = 1
So 6626-83-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Transdermal compositions of 1-oxohydrocarbyl-substituted azacyclohexanes
-
, (2008/06/13)
This invention provides compositions for enhancing penetration of physiologically active agents through the skin or mucosal membranes and for retaining these agents in body tissues, said composition comprising effective amounts of a physiologically-active agent and a compound represented by the general formula STR1 wherein X may represent sulfur, oxygen or nitrogen; a and b may be 0 or 1, c may be 0, 1 or 2, except that when X is oxygen, a, b and c are 0, when X is nitrogen c is 0 and only one of a or b is 1, and when X is sulfur a and b are 0; A is a branched or a straight chain, divalent aliphatic radical having from 0 to 2 double bonds; R' is selected from the group consisting of H, a lower alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl, lower alkyl or halogen substituted phenyl, acetamido, halogen, piperidinyl, lower alkyl or halogen substituted piperidinyl, carbalkoxy, carboxamide, and alkanoyl; and R is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, STR2 wherein R" is H or halogen, and salts, e.g. acid or quaternary derivatives, thereof. These compositions are useful in topical or transdermal applications of the physiologically-active agent.
