-
, (2022/03/07)
The present disclosure relates to novel boron-containing compounds and their novel uses, e.g., as active ingredients that have pesticidal activity. The disclosure also relates to agrochemical compositions and their use in agriculture or horticulture for the control or prevention of infestation of plants, plant parts, plant propagation materials, harvested food crops, or seeds by pests, specifically fungi and nematodes. The disclosure further relates to methods for promoting plant performance and/or curatively or preventively controlling phytopathogens, (particularly fungi and nematodes) on or in a plant, plant parts, plant propagation materials, seeds, harvested fruits, or vegetables.
Copper-Catalyzed Amino Lactonization and Amino Oxygenation of Alkenes Using O-Benzoylhydroxylamines
Hemric, Brett N.,Shen, Kun,Wang, Qiu
supporting information, p. 5813 - 5816 (2016/06/09)
A copper-catalyzed amino lactonization of unsaturated carboxylic acids has been achieved as well as the analogous intermolecular three-component amino oxygenation of olefins. The transformation features mild conditions and a remarkably broad substrate sco
Synthesis of 1-indanols and 1-indanamines by intramolecular palladium(0)-catalyzed C(sp3)-H arylation: Impact of conformational effects

supporting information, p. 11084 - 11090,7 (2014/10/15)
A range of valuable 1-indanols and 1-indanamines containing a tertiary C1 atom were synthesized by intramolecular palladium(0)-catalyzed C(sp 3)-H arylation, despite unfavorable steric interactions. The efficiency of the reaction was found to correlate with the degree of substitution at C2, as expected from the Thorpe-Ingold effect. Additionally, the nature of the heteroatomic substituent at C1 had a marked influence on the diastereoselectivity at C1 and C2; indeed, 1-indanols and 1-indanamines were obtained with the opposite relative configuration. Analysis of the X-ray and DFT-optimized structures of the corresponding reactive intermediates provided useful insights into the subtle conformational effects induced by these substituents.
A visible-light-mediated oxidative C-N bond formation/aromatization cascade: Photocatalytic preparation of N-arylindoles
Maity, Soumitra,Zheng, Nan
supporting information, p. 9562 - 9566 (2012/11/07)
Just add light and air: Structurally diverse N-arylindoles can be prepared from readily prepared o-styryl anilines through visible-light photocatalysis. The reaction, which is conducted open to air, is mediated by [Ru(bpz) 3](PF6)2 (bpz=2,2'-bipyrazine) and involves both C-N bond formation and aromatization (see scheme). Using suitably substituted substrates, a 1,2-carbon shift can be also incorporated into this cascade reaction. Copyright
