A compound of the formula STR1 wherein R is a C6 -C20 alkyl, arylalkyl or cycloalkyl alkyl; R' is phenyl or substituted phenyl; and X is H, halogen, where R" is H or C1 -C7 alkyl, or a group represented by the formula STR2 WHERE N IS AN INTEGER FROM 1 TO 4; M IS AN INTEGER FROM 1 TO 4; AND Y is CH2, O, S or NR"' where R"' is H or C1 -C7 alkyl. The compounds of this invention are useful as intraocular pressure lowering agents, i.e., anti-glaucoma agents.
