Internal alkenyldialkylboranes give regio- and stereospecifically desidgned 1,4-dienes or conjugated enyenes, bearing a substituent at the internal alkenyl carbon atom, by a coupling reaction with allyl bromide or 1-bromo-1-alkynes.
