692205-18-8 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 692205-18-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 6,9,2,2,0 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 692205-18:
(8*6)+(7*9)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*0)+(3*5)+(2*1)+(1*8)=158
158 % 10 = 8
So 692205-18-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Sequences in Dendrons and Dendrimers

Sivanandan, Kulandaivelu,Sandanaraj, Britto S.,Thayumanavan

, p. 2937 - 2944 (2007/10/03)

Sequential incorporation of a variety of functional groups forms the basis for specificity in biomacromolecules. Introduction of such diversity and sequencing ability in artificial macromolecules is fundamentally interesting. In this paper, three different synthetic approaches have been used to build dendrons and dendrimers in which all the monomer units are different from each other. The synthetic strategies described in this paper involve the use of (i) an ABBp monomer, (ii) an ABB′ monomer, and (iii) an ABB m monomer. The complementarity and the versatility of these synthetic approaches should render them useful for a variety of applications.
