Thermally accelerated asymmetric hydrosilylations using ligated copper hydride
Lipshutz, Bruce H.,Frieman, Bryan A.,Unger, John B.,Nihan, Danielle M.
, p. 606 - 614 (2007/10/03)
Exposure of a variety of prochiral substrates to [(R)-(-)-DTBM-SEGPHOS]CuH + PMHS under microwave or conventionally heated conditions reduces reaction times for these hydrosilylations from hours to minutes without significant erosion in ee in most cases.
Copper(I)-catalyzed asymmetric hydrosilylations of imines at ambient temperatures
Lipshutz, Bruce H.,Shimizu, Hideo
, p. 2228 - 2230 (2007/10/03)
Are you looking for an operationally simple means of preparing enantio-enriched benzylic-like centers bearing nitrogen? Consider this new and convenient alternative to asymmetric hydrogenation: CuH when ligated by an enantio-pure SEGPHOS ligand can cataly
