The acylation of sodium 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole-5-sulfonamidate by N-aryloxamic esters in dimethylformamide was investigated by a polarographic method.The obtained data made it possible to establish that the reaction is described by a second-order kinetic equation and takes in two stages with the formation of a complex of the anion of the salt form with the oxamic ester as intermediate product.The kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics of this process were calculated, and the effect of the nature of the solvent in the benzene ring of the ester was investigated.
