Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 72335-58-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,2,3,3 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 72335-58:
(7*7)+(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*3)+(3*5)+(2*5)+(1*8)=121
121 % 10 = 1
So 72335-58-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Cobalt-catalyzed carboxylation of propargyl acetates with carbon dioxide
Nogi, Keisuke,Fujihara, Tetsuaki,Terao, Jun,Tsuji, Yasushi
, p. 13052 - 13055 (2015/02/19)
The cobalt-catalyzed carboxylation of propargyl acetates with CO2 (1 atm) is described. The reaction proceeds at room temperature in the presence of Mn powder as a reducing reagent. Various propargyl acetates are converted to the corresponding carboxylic acids in good to high yields.
