Water-soluble fiber-reactive azo, metal complex azo, anthraquinone, phthalocyanine, formazan, azomethine, dioxazine, phenazine, stilbene, triphenylemthane, xanthene, thioxanthone, nitroaryl, naphthoquinone, pyrenequinone or perylenetetracarbimide dyes which contain once or twice the group of the general formula STR1 in which: Rx and Rz are, independently of one another, hydrogen or lower alkyl, which can be substituted by halogen, hydroxyl, cyano, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, sulfamoyl, sulfo or sulfato; W is fluorine, chlorine, bromine, sulfo, phenylsulfonyl or alkylsulfonyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Y is vinyl, β-substituted, β-thiosulfatoethyl, β-phosphatoethyl, β-alkanoyloxyethyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms in the alkanoyl radical, β-benozoyloxyethyl, β-(sulfobenzoyloxy)ethyl, β-(p-toluenesulfonyloxy)ethyl or β-halogenoethyl.
