A series of 4-(3-benzazolylmethyl)aminodiphenyl ethers have been synthesized and evaluated for their biological activity.The compounds have been synthesized by the condensation of 4-aminodiphenyl ether with benzazoles, phthalimides, and 4-quinazolone in the presence of 40percent formalin under Mannich conditions.
