PHOSPHINE FREE COBALT BASED CATALYST, PROCESS FOR PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF
-
Paragraph 0068; 0142; 0150, (2020/12/29)
The present invention discloses a phosphine free cobalt based catalyst of formula (I) and a process for preparation thereof. The present invention further discloses a process for the synthesis of aromatic heterocyclic compounds of formula (II) and pyrazine derivative using the phosphine free cobalt based catalyst of formula (I).
Practical routes to 2,6-disubstituted pyridine derivatives
Vandromme, Lucie,Reissig, Hans-Ulrich,Groeper, Susie,Rabe, Juergen P.
experimental part, p. 2049 - 2055 (2009/04/04)
We report the synthesis of a series of 2,6-disubstituted pyridines in a straightforward manner starting from readily available 2-substituted pyridines. The main sequence involves a selective ?-lithiation reaction with halogen functionalization followed by
Iron-catalyzed chemoselective cross-coupling of primary and secondary alkyl halides with arylzinc reagents
Nakamura, Masaharu,Ito, Shingo,Matsuo, Keiko,Nakamura, Eiichi
, p. 1794 - 1798 (2007/10/03)
Functional-group-compatible cross-coupling reaction of alkyl halides with arylzinc reagents takes place under iron catalysis in the presence of TMEDA, producing a variety of aromatic compounds in good to excellent yield. The pronounced effect of a magnesium salt was found to be the key to the promotion of the iron-catalyzed coupling reaction. Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.
