Paragraph 0026-0031; 0035-0039, (2021/08/06)
The invention relates to an acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system and a preparation method and application thereof. The acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system is a co-sensitive system of an acid small molecule dye and an alkali small molecule dye, the structural formula of the acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system is shown in the specification, n is equal to 1 and n is equal to 2, and the acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system can be applied to a co-sensitive TiO2 photo-anode. The acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system has the advantage of non-competitive adsorption, and when the acid/alkali dye co-sensitive system is co-sensitive, a good complementary absorption effect is achieved during the ultraviolet absorption on the photo-anode.
Investigation into the influence of an acrylic acid acceptor in organic D-π-A sensitizers against phototoxicity

, (2020/05/25)
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a non-invasive, selective, and cost-effective cancer therapy. We previously reported that thiophene-based organic D-π-A sensitizers consist of an electron-donating (D) moiety, a π-conjugated bridge (π) moiety, and an electron-accepting (A) moiety, and are readily accessible and stable templates for photosensitizers that could be used in PDT. In addition, acrylic acid acceptor-containing photosensitizers exert a high level of phototoxicity. This study was an investigation into 1) the possibility of increasing phototoxicity by introducing another carboxyl group or by replacing a carboxyl group with a pyridinium group, and 2) the importance of an alkene in the acrylic acid acceptor for phototoxicity. A review of the design, synthesis, and evaluation of sensitizers revealed that neither dicarboxylic acid nor pyridinium photosensitizers enhance phototoxicity. An evaluation of a photosensitizer without an alkene in the acrylic acid moiety revealed that the alkene was not indispensable in the pursuit of phototoxicity. The obtained results provided new insight into the design of ideal D-π-A photosensitizers for PDT.
Multi-modal photic diagnosis and treatment agent with aggregation-induced emission properties, and preparation and application thereof

Paragraph 0049-0052, (2020/12/09)
The invention discloses a multi-modal photic diagnosis and treatment agent with aggregation-induced emission property and preparation and application thereof. The general structural formula of the photic diagnosis and treatment agent is as shown in the specification. In the general structural formula, R1 is as described in the specification, R2 is a C1 to C16 alkyl group or is as described in thespecification, and a dotted-line bond represents a connecting site of R1 and R2. The photic diagnosis and treatment agent with the structure is excellent in biocompatibility and small in toxic and side effects, and further has strong long-wavelength fluorescence emission performance, excellent active oxygen generation capacity and efficient photothermal conversion performance, and multi-modal imaging of the photic diagnosis and treatment agent has the advantages of high resolution ratio, strong penetrability, low background interference, good photobleaching resistance and the like. The photicdiagnosis and treatment agent can be used for photodynamic-photothermal combined treatment guided by near-infrared first-zone or second-zone fluorescence imaging, photoacoustic imaging and photothermal imaging. In multi-modal imaging-guided photodynamic-photothermal combined anti-tumor treatment, the photic diagnosis and treatment agent can generate a large amount of heat while generating a largeamount of active oxygen under laser irradiation, and can realize efficient killing of cancer cells and tumor tissue.

Novel photosensitized dyes having trifluoromethylacrylic acid as an acceptor-anchor moiety (MCL2629) are synthesized. These dyes seem to suppress the back-donation currents from the conduction band of TiO2 semiconductor to the electrolyte. Their fabricated dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) show high IPCE performances (MCL27; over 80% between 400520 nm, max 90% at 465 nm). In particular, the high IPCE properties are compared with more than 80 article examples.
