The ethynylation of β-keto sulfides (1-alkylthio-2-methyl-3-butanones) with acetylene and substituted acetylenes under the conditions of the Favorskii reaction and also with lithium and sodium acetylides in liquid ammonia was investigated.The condensation of the β-keto sulfides with substituted acetylenes was investigated under the conditions of the Grignard-Iotsich reaction.The possibility of aminomethylation of terminal sulfur-containing acetylenic carbinols by the Mannich reaction was demonstrated.
