The fractions of 1-methyl-1,2-diarylcyclopropanes were separated into the corresponding cis and trans isomers by chromatomass spectrometry, and their mass spectra were recorded.The effect of the cis and trans forms of the molecular ion on the character of dissociative ionization was investigated.It was shown that the intensity of the + and + ions can be used as a criterion for determinating the form of the diastereomer.
