Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 78348-96-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 7,8,3,4 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 78348-96:
(7*7)+(6*8)+(5*3)+(4*4)+(3*8)+(2*9)+(1*6)=176
176 % 10 = 6
So 78348-96-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Electrophilic amination of diorganozinc reagents by oxaziridines

Ghoraf, Mohammed,Vidal, Jo?lle

scheme or table, p. 7383 - 7385 (2009/05/07)

Electrophilic amination of organozinc reagents by oxaziridines has been studied. Diorganozinc reagents R2Zn (R = alkyl or aryl) react with N-Boc oxaziridine to afford N-Boc protected primary amines BocNHR in moderate to good yields. No additive

Selectivities in the Reactions of Alkyl-, Aryl- and Heterosubstituted Organotitanium Compounds

Weidmann, Beat,Widler, Leo,Olivero, Alan G.,Maycock, Christopher D.,Seebach, Dieter

, p. 357 - 361 (2007/10/02)

Solutions of the title compounds R-Ti(OR')3 (1) are generally available from organolithium (or magnesium) derivatives according to equation 1.It is shown (table 1) that some heterosubstituted organotitanium compounds are more stable thermally than their lithium counterparts. The reagents 1 are highly selective carbonylophiles (Tables 1 and 2), their reactivity can be modified by variation of the R'O-group (Table 3) and with the chiral (S)-2-methyl-1-butoxy group an enantioselective addition can be achieved.
