Deprotonated and mixed ligand complexes of the type M(BTH)2 , M(BTH)2*2H2O , Al(BTH)3*H2O, M(BTH)2*L'2, and VO(BTH)2*L' have been synthesised and characterized on the basis of analytical data, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, thermogravimetric analysis, infrared and electronic spectral measurements.All the complexes are octahedral except VO(BTH)2 which is square-pyramidal.
