Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 80368-74-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,0,3,6 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 80368-74:
(7*8)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*6)+(3*8)+(2*7)+(1*4)=137
137 % 10 = 7
So 80368-74-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

DICHLORO QUINONES AS DIENOPHILES; SYNTHESIS OF ALIZARIN DERIVATIVES

Camerom, Donald W.,Feutrill, Geoffrey I.,Keep, Philip L. C.

, p. 5173 - 5176 (2007/10/02)

2,3-Dichloro quinonoid dienophiles react with 1,3-dioxy butadienes to give cycloadducts, which aromatise with uptake of external nucleophile to give 1,2-disubstitution in the newly formed aromatic ring. With oxy nucleophiles this has led to synthesis of natural alizarin derivatives.

ANTHRAQUINONES IN CELL SUSPENSION CULTURES OF MORINDA CITRIFOLIA

Inoue, Kenichiro,Nayeshiro, Hidekazu,Inouye, Hiroyuki,Zenk, Meinhart

, p. 1693 - 1700 (2007/10/02)

From cell suspension cultures of Morinda citrifolia five known anthraquinones, rubiadin, lucidin, morindone, lucidin-3-β-primeveroside and morindone-6-β-primeveroside, and seven new anthraquinones were isolated.Six of the seven new quinones were characterized as 2-methyl-3,5,6-trihydroxyanthraquinone, 3-hydroxymorindone, 5,6-dihydroxylucidin, 2-methyl-3,5,6-trihydroxyanthraquinone-6-β-primeveroside, 3-hydroxymorindone-6-β-primeveroside and 5,6-dihydroxylucidin-3-β-primeveroside, respectively. - Keywords: Morinda citrifolia; Rubiaceae; cell suspension culture; anthraquinones; anthraquinone primeverosides; droplet counter-current chromatography; 1H NMR.
