Kachroo, P. L.,Gupta, Rajive,Sethi, O. P.
, p. 828 - 829 (2007/10/02)
Some substituted-benzenealkanamine hydrochlorides have been synthesized and tested for spontaneous locomotor activity in mice. Most of the test compounds show hypomotor activity but a few show hypermotor activity.
Some N-Substituted Benzenepropanamines as Amebicidal Agents
Kachroo, P. L.,Singh, C.,Gupta, Rajive
, p. 164 - 165 (2007/10/02)
Twelve N-substituted 2,4-dialkoxy-5-alkylbenzenepropanamines (IIa-l) have been synthesised by the condensation of 2,4-dialkoxy-5-alkylbenzenepropanoyl chlorides with aliphatic and aromatic amines followed by reduction of the resultant amides with LAH.The amine hydrochlorides have been tested in vitro for their amebicidal activity against E. histolytica and some of them show significant activity.
