The invention provides a preparation method of alpha, omega-diamino nonaethylene glycol. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, carrying out substitution reaction on triglycolamine and triphenylchloromethane to obtain N-triphenylmethyl-triglycolamine; S2, carrying out an etherification reaction on the N-triphenylmethyl-triglycolamine and triethylene glycol bis (p-toluenesulfonate) so as to obtain N, N '-bis (triphenylmethyl)-nonaethylene glycol diamine; and S3, carrying out a hydrogenation reaction on the N, N '-bis (triphenylmethyl)-nonaethylene glycol diamine and hydrogen so as to obtain the alpha, omega-diamino nonaethylene glycol. According to the preparation method of the alpha, omega-diamino nonaethylene glycol, a highly toxic raw material such as sodium azide does not need to be used, the toxicity of all the used raw materials is relatively low, extreme process conditions are not involved in the whole synthesis route, the purification of the final product is relatively simple, the total yield is high, and the product is suitable for industrial production.
