Li, Kun,Zhou, Li-Hong,Zhang, Ji,Chen, Shan-Yong,Zhang, Zhong-Wei,Zhang, Jing-Jing,Lin, Hong-Hui,Yu, Xiao-Qi
, p. 1768 - 1772 (2009)
The interactions of cyclen Cu(II) complexes functionalized by ferrocenyl group with plasmid DNA indicated that these complexes have high cleavage efficiency via an oxidative mechanism in the absence of any reductant or oxidant.
Positive ion pair cooperativity exhibited for the binding of phosphate under physiological conditions
Gunning, Patrick T.
, p. 3877 - 3879 (2005)
The synthesis of a heteroditopic receptor which exhibits positive cooperativity for the binding of phosphate ion pairs under physiological conditions. Optimised complementarity between crown ether host and metal guest leads to increased binding affinity, Ka. The Royal Society of Chemistry 2005.
Synthesis and DNA-cleavage activities of dinuclear copper(II) complexes of urea-bridged macrocyclic polyamines
Yue, Yang,Li, Jing,Zhang, Ji,Zhang, Zhong-Wei,Lin, Hong-Hui,Chen, Shan-Yong,Yu, Xiao-Qi
, p. 2236 - 2243 (2009)
Two dinuclear macrocyclic polyamine copper(II) (CuII) complexes, which have two cyclen units linked by urea, were synthesized as DNA-cleavage agents. The structures of these new dinuclear complexes were identified by HR-ESI-MS and IR analyses.
The effect of an amino-acid bridge on binding affinity and cleavage efficiency of pyrenyl-macrocyclic polyamine conjugates toward DNA
Lu, Qiao-Sen,Huang, Yu,Li, Jing,Zhang, Zhong-Wei,Lin, Hong-Hui,Yu, Xiao-Qi
experimental part, p. 1273 - 1282 (2010/04/23)
A series of pyrenyl-macrocyclic polyamines 5a-5c have been prepared and characterized. Their DNA-cleavage properties were examined under physiological conditions. Without the presence of other additives, the DNA cleavage ability of 5a -5c showed the order
Synthesis and binding properties of hybrid cyclophane - Azamacrocyclic receptors
Benniston, Andrew C.,Gunning, Patrick,Peacock, Robert D.
, p. 115 - 123 (2007/10/03)
(Chemical Equation Presented). Three new azamacrocyclic-cyclophane hybrid receptors L1, L2, and L3 have been synthesized that incorporate either 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (cyclen) or 1,4,7-triazacyclononane (tacn) uni
A modular ditopic crown-shielded phosphate ion-pair receptor
Gunning, Patrick,Benniston, Andrew C.,Peacock, Robert D.
, p. 2226 - 2227 (2007/10/03)
The synthesis of a modular hybrid receptor containing both an aza macrocycle and crown ether is described; a complete thermodynamic characterisation of the binding properties, in water, of the zinc(II) complex of the receptor towards phosphate is presente
