Reaction mixtures containing 4-methyl-(or ethyl)-6-phenyl-2,3-dihydrooxazine kept for some weeks in contact with air at room temperature yielded products of oxidative dimerization (dimorpholinofurans).The structures of the new compounds were determined on the basis of spectral studies and chemical transformations.
