The present invention relates to C-20 olefin derivatives of 16-membered macrolide antibiotics repromicin, rosaramicin, 5-mycaminosyltylonolide, desmycosin, lactenocin, O-demethyllactenocin, 4'-deoxymycaminosyltylonolide and 23-deoxymycaminosyltylonolide, which are useful against bacterial and mycoplasmic pathogens in animals.
