The syntheses of mononuclear cationic complexes of general formula ClO4 and ClO4 (E=P, As) are described.Carbonylation of complexes of the types ClO4 and ClO4 (OPyR=substituted pyridine N-oxides), sometimes carried out in the presence of triphenylphosphine, leads to complexes of the types ClO4, ClO4, ClO4, ClO4 and ClO4.Dinuclear complexes of the general formula (ClO4)2 are prepared from the solvate ClO4 and the appropriate ligand.Related complexes of the type (ClO4)2 are similarly obtained.
