Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 854448-82-1 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,5,4,4,4 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 854448-82:
(8*8)+(7*5)+(6*4)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*8)+(2*8)+(1*2)=201
201 % 10 = 1
So 854448-82-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

N -Boc amines to oxazolidinones via Pd(II)/bis-sulfoxide/br?nsted acid Co-catalyzed allylic C-H oxidation

Osberger, Thomas J.,White, M. Christina

supporting information, p. 11176 - 11181 (2014/08/18)

A Pd(II)/bis-sulfoxide/Br?nsted acid catalyzed allylic C-H oxidation reaction for the synthesis of oxazolidinones from simple N-Boc amines is reported. A range of oxazolidinones are furnished in good yields (avg 63%) and excellent diastereoselectivities (avg 15:1) to furnish products regioisomeric from those previously obtained using allylic C-H amination reactions. Mechanistic studies suggest the role of the phosphoric acid is to furnish a Pd(II)bis-sulfoxide phosphate catalyst that promotes allylic C-H cleavage and π-allylPd functionalization with a weak, aprotic oxygen nucleophile and to assist in catalyst regeneration.

Electrophilic rearrangements of chiral amides: A traceless asymmetric α-allylation

Peng, Bo,Geerdink, Danny,Maulide, Nuno

supporting information, p. 14968 - 14971 (2013/11/06)

A one-pot protocol for the asymmetric α-allylation reaction is reported relying on a key efficient asymmetric Claisen rearrangement, triggered by electrophilic activation of chiral pseudoephedrine amides. Subsequent reduction or hydrolysis of the resulting iminium ions provides highly enantioenriched α-allylic aldehydes or carboxylic acids in a traceless manner. Compared to traditional alternatives which make use of strongly basic conditions, the work presented herein displays unprecedented functional group tolerance.

Antagonists of the human CCR5 receptor as anti-HIV-1 agents. Part 2: Structure-activity relationships for substituted 2-aryl-1-[N-(methyl)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)amino]-4-(piperidin-1-yl)butanes

, p. 265 - 270 (2007/10/03)

(2S)-2-(3,4-Dichlorophenyl)-1-[N-(methyl)-N-(phenylsulfonyl)amino]-4-[spiro(2 ,3-dihydrobenzthiophene-3,4′-piperidin-1′yl)]butane S-oxide (3) has been identified as a potent CCR5 antagonist lead structure having an IC50 = 35 nM. Herein, we describe the structure-activity relationship studies directed toward the requirement for and optimization of the C-2 phenyl fragment. The phenyl was found to be important for CCR5 antagonism and substitution was limited to small moieties at the 3-position (13 and 16: X = H, 3-F, 3-Cl, 3-Me).
