Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 85447-27-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,5,4,4 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 85447-27:
(7*8)+(6*5)+(5*4)+(4*4)+(3*7)+(2*2)+(1*7)=154
154 % 10 = 4
So 85447-27-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

NEO-CLERODANE DITERPENES FROM AJUGA NIPPONENSIS

Shimomura, Hiroko,Sashida, Yutaka,Ogawa, Kazunori

, p. 354 - 357 (2007/10/02)

By reinvestigation of the aerial parts of Ajuga nipponensis, four new bitter neo-clerodanes, ajugamarins C1, B2, B3 and D1, and a known diterpene, ajugarin-I, have been isolated. The structures of these diterpenes were elucidated on the basis of spectral data and chemical correlations. Keywords - neo-clerodane; Ajuga nipponensis; bitter principle; diterpene; Labiataeajugamarin

The Chemical Constituents of Ajuga Plants. I. neo-Clerodanes from the Leaves of Ajuga nipponensis Makino

Shimomura, Hiroko,Sashida, Yutaka,Ogawa, Kazunori,Iitaka, Yoichi

, p. 2192 - 2199 (2007/10/02)

Three new bitter principles, ajugamarin, dihydroajugamarin, and ajugamarin chlorohydrin, which belong to the neo-clerodane group of diterpenoids, have been isolated from the leaves of Ajuga nipponensis. The structures of these compound were established by the chemical and spectroscopic means. The absolute structure of ajugamarin was determined by the X-ray analysis of ajugamarin p-bromobenzoate.Ajugamarin chlorohydrin may have been formed by addition of hydrogen chloride to ajugamarin during the isolation procedure. Keywords ---- Ajuga nipponensis; Labiatae; diterpenoid; neo-clerodane; bitter principle; ajugamarin; dihydroajugamarin; ajugamarin chlorohydrin; X-ray crystallographic analysis
