Vinyloxyanilines and their N-substituted derivatives react with benzenediazonium ions in the aromatic ring.A series of new vinyloxyazobenzenes containing amino, diethylamino, nitro, sulfo, carboxy, and azophenyl groups were synthesized.The possibility of using them in copolymerization reactions for the production of structurally colored polystyrene was demonstrated.
