Free radical reactions of sodium sulfinate with olefins
Chuang,Wang
, p. 3549 - 3563 (1995)
A sulfonyl radical induced selenosulfonation and thiosulfonation with olefins by using sodium arylsulfinate as sulfonyl radical precursor is described. Phenyldiselenide and phenyldisulfide are used as free radical acceptors.
Further Studies of Selenosulfonation. Photoaddition of Bis(p-tolylsulfonyl)Selenide and Alkaneselenosulfonates to Alkenes and the Selenosulfonation of β-Pinene and 1,6-Heptadiene
Kang, Young-Hee,Kice, John L.
, p. 1507 - 1511 (2007/10/02)
Some extensions of the selenosulfonation of olefins of possible synthetic utility have been investigated: (a) Photoaddition of bis(p-tolylsulfonyl)selenide (7), ArSO2SeSO2Ar (Ar= p-CH3C6H4), to alkenes leads to Se-β-(p-tolylsulfonyl)alkyl p-tolueneselenos
