Synthesis and pharmacological activity of all four stereoisomers of N-substituted 2-amino-7-phenoxycycloheptanols are reported.The trans-aminocycloheptanols (II) and (IV) have been prepared by ring-opening of the corresponding cis- and trans-cycloheptane
