The addition of benzenesulfonyl chloride to functionally substituted alkenylcyclopropanes was realized in the presence of catalytic amounts of cuprous chloride.The structure of the obtained adducts was determined, it was shown that the reaction is nonstereoselective, and its mechanism was investigated.
