Three novel flavonoids, chrysograyanone (1), chrysoquinone A (2), and chrysosplenoside H (3), have been isolated from fresh whole plants of Chrysosplenium grayanum Maxim. (Saxifragaceae) and their structures were determined to be 5-hydroxy-2-(1,trans-5-dihydroxy-4-methoxy-5-methoxycarbonyl-2-oxo-cyc lopent-3-enyl)-3,7-dimethoxychromone (1), 2',5'-dihydro-5-hydroxy-3,7,4',6'-tetramethoxyflavone-2',5'-dione (2), and 5,2'-dihydroxy-3,6,7,4',5'-pentamethoxyflavone (brickellin)-2'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3) on the basis of spectroscopic evidence and X-ray analysis.
