The chemical compound "(Re(CO)4(CON(CH3C6H4)C(CH3)NC6H4CH3))" is a complex organometallic molecule consisting of a rhenium (Re) atom at its center. It features four carbonyl (CO) ligands, which are linear two-atom groups consisting of a carbon and an oxygen atom, bonded to the rhenium. Additionally, it has a bidentate Schiff base ligand, which is a type of ligand formed from the condensation of a primary amine and an aldehyde or ketone. In this case, the Schiff base is derived from the condensation of 4-(N-methylanilino)benzylamine with 4-methoxybenzaldehyde, resulting in a chelating ligand that wraps around the rhenium center. The Schiff base ligand is characterized by two nitrogen atoms from the amine groups and a central carbon atom from the benzyl group, which together form a five-membered ring. The overall structure of the compound is a rhenium complex with a unique arrangement of ligands, which can be of interest in various fields such as catalysis, materials science, and medicinal chemistry due to its potential applications and properties.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 90523-08-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,0,5,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 90523-08:
(7*9)+(6*0)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*8)=113
113 % 10 = 3
So 90523-08-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

RHENIUM CARBONYL COMPLEXES. SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF NN'-DIARYLAMIDINES, R'NHC(R)NR' (R=H, Me, or Ph, R'=Ph or C6H4Me-p), AND RELATED CARBAMOYL DERIVATIVES

NN'-Diarylacetamidines R'NHC(Me)NR', NN'-diarylbenzamidines R'NHC(Ph)NR', and NN'-diarylformamidines R'NHC(H)NR' (R'=Ph or C6H4Me-p) react thermally or photolytically with and/or 2> (X= Cl or Br) to afford air-stable, white complexes, X>, containing monodentate amidine ligands. The corresponding lithioamidines (R= Me or Ph) gave white carbamoyl complexes >, which are converted thermally to NN'-bidentate > and ortho-metallated > (R''=H or Me).The latter complexes are also formed by further reaction of the carbamoyl complexes with the corresponding amidine. The carbamoyl complexes react with PPh3 to form >.Lithioamidines in excess react with (X= Cl or Br) complexes to give adducts formulated as Li(1+)2>(1-).The new complexes are characterised, and structural data obtained by i.r. and n.m.r. spectroscopy.
