R-DULOXETINE HYDROCHLORIDE, also known as (R)-Duloxetine hydrochloride, is a napthalenyloxy-substituted amine that is a white solid. It is used in binding studies of human serum albumin along with its enantiomer, (S)-Duloxetine. However, unlike its enantiomer, R-DULOXETINE HYDROCHLORIDE is not a very effective dual serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).
