General Description
This chemical, more commonly known as Peginterferon beta-1a, is a long-acting form of interferon used for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). It is made from combining carbamic acid with several other compounds. Its complex structure includes an amino-6-chloro-2-pyrimidinyl group and a cyclohexyl group with an attached carbonyl group. It's known for its ability to hamper virus activity and help the immune system reduce inflammation, thereby slowing down the progression and reducing the frequency of relapse in patients with MS. However, like any other drugs, it may also elicit side effects like flu-like symptoms, depression, and increases in certain liver enzymes.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 917022-13-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,1,7,0,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 917022-13:
(8*9)+(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*0)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*1)+(1*3)=140
140 % 10 = 0
So 917022-13-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
