Addition complexes of quinoline N-oxide (QNO) with various cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) arylcarboxylates have been isolated and characterised.Elemental analyses, molecular weight and conductance studies reveal that the complexes are neutral, dimeric species of composition 2.The subnormal magnetic moments, unusual colours and spectra of the complexes suggest that these are carboxylate-bridged species of dimeric structures.
