Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 925685-87-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,2,5,6,8 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 925685-87:
(8*9)+(7*2)+(6*5)+(5*6)+(4*8)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*7)=216
216 % 10 = 6
So 925685-87-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Sensing of double-stranded DNA/RNA secondary structures by water soluble homochiral perylene bisimide dyes

Gershberg, Jana,Radi? Stojkovi?, Marijana,?kugor, Marko,Tomi?, Sanja,Rehm, Thomas H.,Rehm, Stefanie,Saha-M?ller, Chantu R.,Piantanida, Ivo,Würthner, Frank

, p. 7886 - 7895 (2015)

A broad series of homochiral perylene bisimide (PBI) dyes were synthesized that are appended with amino acids and cationic side chains at the imide positions. Self-assembly behavior of these ionic PBIs has been studied in aqueous media by UV/Vis spectrosc

Controlling Photoconductivity in PBI Films by Supramolecular Assembly

Draper, Emily R.,Archibald, Lewis J.,Nolan, Michael C.,Schweins, Ralf,Zwijnenburg, Martijn A.,Sproules, Stephen,Adams, Dave J.

, p. 4006 - 4010 (2018)

Perylene bisimides (PBIs) self-assemble in solution. The solubility of the PBIs is commonly changed through the choice of substituents at the imide positions. It is generally assumed this substitution does not affect the electronic properties of the PBI,

A room-temperature liquid-crystalline phase with crystalline π stacks

Xu, Yijin,Leng, Siwei,Xue, Chenming,Sun, Runkun,Pan, Jie,Ford, Jason,Jin, Shi

, p. 3896 - 3899 (2007)

Well stacked: A liquid-crystalline material with crystalline π stacks has been synthesized in which the room-temperature liquid-crystalline phase consists of alternating 2D-crystalline mesogen layers and liquidlike alkyl layers. A long-range ordered layer

The study of perylene diimide-amino acid derivatives for the fluorescence detection of anions

Four types of perylene diimide-amino acid derivatives (H2PDIAla, H2PDIGlu, H2PDIPhe, H2PDITyr) were chosen to interact with anions. The UV-vis, fluorescence (in DMF solution) and NMR spectra in DMSO-d6/sub

Circularly Polarized Luminescence of Chiral Perylene Diimide Based Enantiomers Triggered by Supramolecular Self-Assembly

Li, Fei,Li, Yunzhi,Wei, Guo,Wang, Yuxiang,Li, Shuhua,Cheng, Yixiang

, p. 12910 - 12915 (2016)

Two perylene diimide (PDI) enantiomers (d/l-PDI) incorporating the d/l-alanine moiety have been designed and synthesized. d/l-PDI in chloroform displays bright-yellow fluorescence that is redshifted to orange-red when the solvent contains a methanol fraction of 99 vol %. No circular dichroism (CD) or circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) signals were observed for d/l-PDI enantiomers in CHCl3. Interestingly, the d/l-PDI enantiomers exhibit clear mirror-image Cotton effects and CPL emission in the aggregate state. The optical anisotropy factor (glum) is as high as 0.02 at fm=99 %, which can be attributed to self-assembly through intermolecular π–π interactions in the aggregate state.
